Micro Fiction: Slow Drain

Happy Micro Fiction Monday, my lovely muffins!

The poll was pretty unanimous, vampires won with 75% of the votes. So check out my micro fiction and let me know what you think! And don't forget to subscribe, share, and comment!

Slow Drain

The vampire oozed up the house: a blubbery, gray beast glistening on red brick. Through an open window, a baby cried. It reached through the window with its tentacles – each ended in a gnashing mouth filled with hollow, needle-like teeth.Behind me slithered another vampire. It had been following me for a few hours now, which was bad news. Vampires won’t give up until they catch you or find someone else. Then I spied good luck: a woman was in the street, trapped under a collapsed wall.

“My baby!” she cried, reaching out to me.

I walked past and smiled.
