Submit Your Writing Prompts: August’s Writing Penance

Hey folks, been a while!

This summer has been crazy – from my air conditioner breaking, to several trips out of state, and personal projects – it’s just flown by! I have been writing tons, on a few new short stories as well as my current WIP and am currently watching the Netflix series: Another Life so watch out for a coming review.

I’ve also gone into withdrawal as I wait for a new horror game to come out – so if you have any suggestions, let me know! I’m need a new fix!

On top of everything else, I’ve been planning for the Necronomicon in Providence this month. I am so excited for it! If any of you are going, be sure to keep an eye out for me!

One last bit of news, I guess you could call it news. I know I’ve not been posting regularly, so I am going to reward you all for your patience by writing a piece of fiction and posting them every day of next week. Where does the fun come in?

Well, I put up a post on my Twitter and Facebook page (click the links), go and post a writing prompt (you can also post it in the comments below if you’re so inclined). I’ll choose from those prompts this weekend and start to write, then post a story once a day from Monday until Sunday. Your prompts can be anything, about anything, whatever you want.

Remember, if you want to submit a writing prompt to click here for Twitter and here for Facebook. I’ll start picking them on Sunday and start posting on Monday.

Thanks everyone and let’s get through this boiling hot month together!

x P.L. McMillan
