Publication: Mrs. Rumtifusel's Fur Coat

Amazing news, everyone! My short story; "Mrs. Rumtifusel's Fur Coat", was accepted for publication in the anthology: B is for Beasts, which is being released by Red Cape PublishingThe release date is set for May 13th, but you can preorder it now from Amazon if you want! As you can tell from the title, the anthology is chock full of creature features!

From oversized bugs to Kaiju, vicious woodland creatures to giant spiders, B is for Beasts contains a range of terrifying stories in which the humans are always the prey. - Amazon landing page

And my tale is no exception! "Mrs. Rumtifusel's Fur Coat" features a rather obscure North American cryptid and is set in 1960's Salem. I won't be naming the cryptid here, because it would one hundred percent give away the ending, you're just going to have to grab a copy and read it!Here's a little teaser of my story:

She dropped my hand and pointed up to a weathered sign that looked like it had been painted a hundred years ago. It read: ‘Mrs. Rumtifusel’s Museum of Oddities.’“This is a museum,” I said.“Yeah, so?”“So, they don’t sell things in a museum, they display things.”“Chill out. I’ll convince whoever is working that it’s an absolute necessity that they let me have what I want. If that doesn’t work, there’s always the five-fingered discount!” - excerpt from "Mrs. Rumtifusel's Fur Coat"

So make sure you get your preorders in here!
